Pensions differ from hotels in that they concentrate on the essential:
bed and breakfast.
These accomodations are normally smaller establishments in blocks of flats and offices, family-owned, personally managed by the owner, with an individual flair and many regular patrons.
Pensions offer cheap rooms and have limited services beyond lodging and food. Do not expect a restaurant, or social facilities and conference rooms.
Pensions may offer special prices for travellers staying more than a week.
